The Fogs
The Backgrounder
The fogs are a threat to our freedom of thought, freedom of speech and can also be a threat to all the ideas of freedoms we take for granted. Fogs are and can also be a threat to the limited freedoms in countries where there is little or no democracy.
All societies have traditional freedoms brought down through time. Even these can be threatened by the fogs. Worst of all, our fundamental belief in right and wrong, as well as our belief in the rule of law, can be challenged undermined, or even destroyed by the fogs.
The first fog is the fog that seems like a clever idea at the time. This comes or may come from a leader who wins an election but has no idea what to do next or how to solve an ongoing problem. Laugh till you cry because this is a major cause of the fogs.
The second cause is a short-term reaction to a problem, created by an individual or group, then this fog gets a life of its own before people realize that it is or is becoming a real problem because of all the things that were not considered when this “brilliant” idea was created.
One example would be allowing and supporting mass immigration. This is the Purple Fog. Another example is we are going to separate! To where and what? Gemini ai reminds us, LOL, what it took to get to our democracy. Democracy develops over time, generations, even centuries. The results of separation can be catastrophic.
The third cause of fogs arise out of the “ghost in the machine.” It produces the worst of the fogs. It is so bad because rational thought cannot overthrow it. We could say that with any of the fogs, however, with this fog, knowledge and dissention are thrown aside. It is the fascistic fog. This fog in not part of what relates to The Proposed Grand Duchy of Marpole so we will not dwell on it here except to point it out. This fog allows for mass starvation and murder.
These are only the basic reasons for the fogs. The fogs cannot exist without leaders who forget who they are working for and they must have followers. Followers include political followers, party liners, social climbers, advertisers, opportunists and of course, the media. Hence the name the garbage of the media. For a variety of reasons, the media types will ignore or often ignore the downsides to what is happening, its significance or even come up with reasons why the negative sides of the fog are in fact good for us. Don’t you know a war is good for us!
There is one more relevant fog. One writer said words to the effect everything was fine because our politicians could only view what they could see from the capital. This fog should be subsumed under laziness, the lazy fog, because of course there is no problem unless we can see the problem.
